The practice of offering light in any form, be it butter or oil lamps, candles, or electric lights, is a powerful method to accumulate merit and to create the causes for liberation and enlightenment. Gathered in this booklet are three short lamp offering prayers compiled by Khenpo Appey Appey Rinpoche, one of which was composed by Rinpoche himself. The prayers can each be done separately or all together and although butter and electric lamps are specifically mentioned, they can be used to offer any kind of light.
